History

The Walbrook Club opened its doors in May 2000 in a charming Queen Anne-style townhouse built in 1952 by the late property developer Rudolph Palumbo. The Club’s style is that of an elegant private home and it is centrally located directly next door to the Mansion House, behind NM Rothschild and in front of Bloomberg, as well as a stone’s throw of the Bank of England.

Mark Birley, the legendary owner of Mark’s Club, Harry’s Bar and the original Annabel’s, converted The Walbrook into a private members’ club.

Warmly described as a hidden jewel, The Walbrook Club is an oasis in the heart of the bustling Square Mile.

As well as the bar and main dining room, The Walbrook has two smaller private rooms that are ideally suited for confidential business meetings, breakfasts, lunches, dinners or drinks away from the office and in a convivial atmosphere. The Club prides itself on maintaining high standards of fine dining, absolute discretion and first-class service.
